Live on Robinhood Chain testnet

Nearly 200 stock tokens. 35 price feeds. Slate prices the rest.

A fail-closed price feed for every Robinhood stock token, multiplier and all, and a basket whose NAV is itself a Chainlink-compatible feed.

Stock tokens with a price feed, out of all stock tokens on Robinhood Chain.

Every one of the other 159is an ERC-20 that no lending market, vault or index can price on-chain today. Counted live from Robinhood's asset registry and Chainlink's feed directory.

How it works

A stock-token price has four ways to be wrong. SlateFeed refuses all four.

01

The silent switch

ERC-8056 stages a new multiplier with an event, then switches by timestamp. SlateFeed pairs every price with the multiplier in force when it was observed.

02

Double counting

Robinhood's Chainlink feeds already include the multiplier. SlateFeed never applies it twice, and won't deploy a feed that disagrees with its reference.

03

Closed is not stale

An on-chain US market calendar: NYSE holidays and early closes through 2028, New York daylight saving for any year.

04

Splits and pauses

A large multiplier change holds the feed until a post-split price arrives. Robinhood's advisory oracle pause is enforced.

Prices every token with no Chainlink feed

Share prices are signed by a K-of-N committee, relayed by anyone, bounded on-chain: signer spread, freshness, and unanimity for large moves. The multiplier and its timing are read from the token itself.

The basket's NAV is a drop-in price feed

Any protocol that reads Chainlink can price a Slate share. No adapter.

AggregatorV3Interface nav = AggregatorV3Interface(SLATE5_NAV);
(, int256 navPerShare,,,) = nav.latestRoundData();
// 8 decimals, in USD or in USDG
Paxos USDG

AAPL bought with real USDG

On a fork of Robinhood Chain mainnet, Slate's router bought 0.1 AAPL through the live AAPL/USDG pool with Paxos USDG.

32.79 USDGpaid, against 32.71 fair

Fair is Chainlink AAPL × Chainlink USDG/USD. Inside the 3% band, so the route was accepted. Any Slate feed, a stock token or a basket NAV, can be quoted in USDG the same way.

On testnet, TESTUSD (Slate Test Dollar) is the testnet stand-in for Paxos USDG. Not USDG.

Built next to good work, named plainly

Strike's on-chain market calendar was better than our first version, which only knew weekends. We adopted the same approach. three.ws built the in-kind basket first and keeps prices off-chain by design.
